the science behind COLLAGEN
Collagen is the most abundant protein in your body.
It is strong and flexible and makes up 75-80% of your skin, providing firmness, elasticity and structure. As we age collagen production slows down, leading to a loss of plumpness in the skin and an increase in wrinkles (1) making collagen an essential building block for anti-aging.
Collagen from food is very difficult to digest and absorb. But collagen that has been broken down into small pieces – hydrolysed collagen – is easily absorbed by the digestive system and made readily available to the skin (2). Hydrolysed collagen is the key ingredient in Collagen Lift Paris drinkable collagen and is absorbed within 30 minutes, making it possible to reverse the visible signs of aging in the skin through supplementation. (3)
A multitude of clinical trials have been conducted to measure the effects of ingesting hydrolysed collagen on skin, hair and nails. The results of five of these clinical trials are listed below.
Trial 1:
WRINKLES:
Conducted in Singapore, 56 days on Collagen Lift showed crow’s feet wrinkles reduced by 52.9%, cheek fold wrinkles reduced by 33.6% and under eye wrinkles reduced by 28.6%.
Trial 2:
PIGMENTATION AND AGING:
Conducted in Singapore on 20 women, 84 days on Collagen Lift Paris ‘LUMINOUS GOLD’ showed 41% decrease in pigmentation, Glabellar wrinkles reduced by 51%, 33% reduction in overall wrinkles and 85% of women satisfied with the performance of LUMINOUS GOLD.
Trial 3:
CELLULITE REDUCTION:
A daily dosage of 2.5g of hydrolysed collagen for 6 months had a positive impact on women affected by moderate cellulite with significant improvement in the cellulite score, about 9% reduction for women with BMI < 25 (normal weight) and a significant decrease in the waviness: -11% for women with BMI < 25 and -8% for women with BMI > 25.
Trial 4:
HAIR:
A daily dosage of 2.5g of hydrolysed collagen for 4 months promoted an increase of up to 15% in hair thickness. And in vitro test on human hair follicle cells showed a proliferation rate on average 31% higher than in the untreated cells.
Trial 5:
NAILS:
A daily dosage of 2.5g of hydrolysed collagen for 6 months showed an increase of up to 15% in nail growth and a decrease of frequency of cracked nails. At the end of the study, 80% of participants agreed that the use of collagen had improved their nails’ appearance and 75% perceived their nails to be stronger.
10 REASONS WHY COLLAGEN LIFT PARIS
is essential to your skin care
- Collagen is the major structural component of the skin and affects its plumpness and appearance.
- At about 25 years of age collagen production begins to decrease and by menopause collagen loss is at about 2% a year. (2) In the first 5 years of menopause, women lose as much as 30% of their skin collagen.
- Supplementing with hydrolysed collagen replaces lost collagen in the skin, hair and nails and is proven to be an effective and natural anti-aging approach.
- Clinical trials show that feeding the skin through supplementation with collagen shows “significant and sustained” improvement in skin condition. (2) (3)
- The secret to Collagen Lift Paris’ rejuvenating action is Bioactive Collagen Peptides. Bioactive means the peptides are a particular shape and much smaller than regular collagen molecules, allowing easy digestion, absorption and availability to the skin.
- Replacing the collagen lost through aging with a recommended daily dose of Collagen Lift Paris has been proven to decrease wrinkles and increase skin hydration and elasticity. (1)
- Collagen topical face creams show no evidence of improving skin elasticity over time, as they are thought not to penetrate deeply enough whereas supplementation with collagen works from the inside. (6)
- Collagen Lift Paris contains hydrolysed collagen proven to stimulate and maintain collagen production, specifically in the skin. (1) (4)
- Collagen Lift Paris is also enhanced with French seaweed which not only stimulates collagen production, but also provides the skin with essential amino acids, antioxidants and minerals. Taking seaweed has been shown to be soothing for dry and irritated skin. It also contains the UV protective pigments carotenoids, chlorophylls and xanthophylls. (10)
- Collagen Lift Paris contains Vitamin C which is essential in assisting the production of collagen within the skin; it is also a powerful anti-oxidant that scrubs the cells of free radicals.
I decided to try Collagen Lift to see if it would improve my dry skin. In winter it is particularly bad, with my hands being the worst. I am a runner so my hands really take a beating during early morning runs in the cold. It dries out my already dry skin even more and […]
...I started taking Collagen Lift Paris Red Carpet at the age of 37. My normal beauty routine is the basic wash, tone and day/night creams which hasn’t really helped because I have a lot of wrinkles from sun damage. After taking Red Carpet, my skin is visibly more glowing, so soft and I can hardly […]
